‘greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world’ (1 John 4:4)
I am not that qualified. I am not that well traveled. I am not that good with people. I don’t do well with casual chit-chat, but warm up with deeper conversations. There are many out there more intelligent and experienced than I. I am not the foremost authority on many, if any, of the things I write about, but if I’m writing about it, then I do so because I’m passionate about it. ‘we often preach about that which we need to learn ’.
I love story, mystery and I strive to explain, inculcate, advocate and am passionate about, the truth.
God led me to be a writer because I’m not good with people or with words, and as it turns out, the greatest who ever lived is both a person, and THE WORD, Jesus Christ. So, he is teaching me how to manage my imagination, how to communicate my ideas, how to get my mouth to catch up with my brain, but most of all, how to make His desires and words, my desires and words. He designed me, hence he knows what I’m here for, and how best to fulfill my purpose, but of course in the journey to becoming that man he originally intended me to be, sometimes my own shortcomings and failures get in the way.
I am like a child sitting in a sandbox, or playing with finger paint.
